Rock Up and Sea celebrated FatFace’s community, culture and core values in the seaside setting of Newquay. The brand’s goal was to create an engaging, uplifting and memorable event to bring its brand to life, increase brand awareness and build brand loyalty.
More than 1,000 guests gathered on Lusty Glaze Beach for a programme of music, including indie band The Feeling, inspiring guest speakers and immersive experiences, including talks from Olympic icon Dame Kelly Holmes, record-breaking explorer George Bullard and sustainability creator Bianca Foley. The one-day family-friendly festival had a line-up that reflected the brand’s values of inclusivity, sustainability, and community.
It held conscious arts and crafts, and environmental workshops with the Marine Conservation Society. We ran activities such as surfing and paddle board sessions, both of which are intrinsically linked with FatFace’s brand. Rock up and Sea was all about creating an emotional resonance with the brand through a real life experience that attendees would not forget.
Bigger was thrilled to partner with FatFace to bring their Rock Up and Sea event to life, crafting an unforgettable experience against the stunning backdrop of Newquay’s Lusty Glaze Beach.
Bigger was involved in every detail of the event, from conceptualisation to execution. We designed the event's visual identity and planned its infrastructure. From the eye-catching main stage and carefully curated activities to the vibrant atmosphere of live performances, we ensured that every element captured the essence of the seaside and reflected FatFace’s values.
To set the tone for Rock Up and Sea, Bigger developed a unique and exciting visual identity perfectly tailored to the rugged beauty of the Newquay coast. This creative vision extended across all event collateral, from signage to branded merchandise, ensuring a cohesive look and feel that resonated with attendees and reflected FatFace’s laid-back, adventurous brand personality.
The event offered a range of activities designed to align with FatFace’s brand ethos of embracing adventure, creativity, and family fun. Guests could dive into Beach-themed crafts, Surfing, Yoga and Interactive workshops for kids.
These workshops brought people together and celebrated the adventurous and creative spirit FatFace is known for.
The event's centrepiece was the all-singing, all-dancing main stage, where the action came alive. Attendees were treated to live performances by renowned headliners and expert talks - sharing insider tips on coastal living, sustainable practices and more. Whether soaking up the music, engaging with experts, or discovering new fashion favorites, the main stage had something for everyone.
The event wasn’t just a day out—it was a celebration of community, creativity, and coastal life. With its stunning location, curated activities, and vibrant atmosphere, the event brought together everything FatFace stands for in a way that was both authentic and unforgettable.
